Studio in the NILAYA
Be welcome in my guesthouse the NILAYA with its 1-room self-catering studios.
We are in the middle of the West coast in a small sea side resort village, called Flic en Flac, well known for its beautiful long beach and its marvelous lagoon. It is an ideal starting point for all your excursions in Mauritius!
The NILAYA is a Mauritian bungalow, surrounded by a tropical garden (1,000 sq m) with its climbing flower plants and its numerous fruit trees bearing mangoes, papayas, bananas, bilimbis, bergamots, limes, coco nuts… There is a barbecue corner and some lounging chairs in the garden. And many birds.

The bungalow has only 4 separate, well equipped apartments of 28 sq m each:
The necessary comfort
- 2 large single beds or one king size bed with new mattresses and orthopedic pillows
- two sofas and a dining table
- an American kitchen equipped with electrical plates, a refrigerator, an electrical kettle and a micro wave
- an en-suite bathroom with WC and solar-heated shower
- a ceiling fan and air con
- an electronic safe
- anti-mosquitoes windows
- a private balcony with table and chairs
- bedsheets, kitchen and bathroom towels are provided and changed regularly. You are requested to bring your beach towels
- on request: Wifi, iron, coffee machine, hair dryer, novels in English, literature and documentation about Mauritius….
Comfortable sofas
The studios are for 1 or 2 persons. A cradle for a baby until 6 month can be added to the room.
Each studio is decorated individually with my paintings and the ones of my friends.

Shady roof terrace
If you are more than 2 persons, the studios of the NILAYA are too small. I can propose you a flat in the SSS Villa, which is near the NILAYA at 1 minute by foot.
